Christmas party with Korean Azumma on Dec 23, 2008. The definition of "Azumma" is the 30~40's women who is very brave and has no shame. Generally, they love thier kids more than their husbands. They can survive even if they were left in Sahara Desert. From the left to the right in this picture, Sanghee; Ilwoo's wife, Jeongwha; Hansang's wife, Eun; Myunghoon's wife and Youngmi; My lordess. They are really pleasant women. We had a great party in Jeongwha's house. Thank Jeongwha for inviting us even though they had a schedule to go on a trip to Las vegas right after that day.

Christmas party with Jiwon's family on Dec 21, 2008. Two beautiful ladies, Youngmi and Jiwon sitting on stools. She said this is the first party that someone has been invited in her house. She prepared so many foods by herself. I liked the rice cake with the soy-sauced beef. Thank you Jiwon, her husband and Sean.

Swing on a star - Bruce Willis and Danny Aiello
Do you rememer the movie, Hudson Hawk, starring Bruce Willis? I've been loving Bruce Willis and his movie since I was in teenage. He is very pleasant guy. He loves Jazz. In this film, he sings many jazz songs to keep time with his buddy, Danny Aiello. Swing on a Star is one of them. Let's feel his voice.

Flintstones
Whenever I think about Joshua Tree National Park, I wish I could call it "Flintstones" which was the film regarding a working class Stone Age man's life with his family and his next door. It was very old animation as I remember. Whole surroundings of Joshua Tree National Park are very similar with "Flintstones". I also can remember its main theme song like "Flintstone~ Flintstone~". Anyway I always imagine that I'm traveling thru Stone Age when I'm in Joshua Tree NP.

Golfing is one and only one sport I love
Golfing is one and only one sport I love. Whenever I go golfing, I'm getting better and better. A few days ago, I hit 10 over pars in Rancho Park 18 holes course. Even I caught 10 pars. I wish I could be a single digit hadicaper finally. I changed my old Nike's Slingshot irons to Titleist's 775CB irons. It's the best thing I've done this year. I really love to see and to hit these clubs. Here is Penmar Golf course which is popular golf course for women and seniors. I don't like this course. Too slow and too boring.

Jisu's painting
I've been knowing that Jisu has great talent and passion about arts and sports. Sometimes, Jisu shows me his paintings that he drew in his class and in his room. This painting is the one that he drew in his class several weeks ago. But, I and Youngmi couldn't have seen this painting because this was hung on the wall of his art class in Mar Vista Recreation Center. His teacher loved and hung his painting. Youngmi just took this picture and showed me this a couple of days ago. It stunned me to see the dog who is lively wagging his tail and joyfully tripping down the walkway. Good painting, huh? This is my son's piece!

How Willy Got His Wheels
Jisu met the author, Deborah Turner, of "How Willy Got His Wheels" in Orange County Children's Book Fair. He honorly took the picture with Debora as well as his doggy, Willy, who is described in this book. Jisu really enjoyed Deborah's reading her book. Hey Jisu, I envy you because you could meet the author and the actor in the book that you've imagined for a long time.
Dana Point
Am I sleeping now? No. My eyes are too small to be discriminated whether I close my eyes or not. However, did you know that the smaller eyes can see much clearer than bigger eyes? :-)This is very scientific fact. That's because of "diffraction". When you take a picture using digital SLR camera, sometimes we control "iris" of cameras. Anyway, we stopped by here, Dana Point, Orange County, while we were on the way of going to the Welk Resort, Escondido. Nice sea ports and beaches.

Jisu standing in front of "OOF"
Jisu is standing in front of a painting, "OOF". Sometimes, I can not understand why this kind of things is selected as a masterpiece in this museum. When I saw this painting, I thougt how I am supposed to expalin...what if Jisu ask me why this has been selected as a masterpice in this museum. Even I couldn't understand artist's intentions as well as curator's intention. Anyway Jisu enjoyed seeing this kind of paintings very much.
